It’s also ideal for public transport, and should fit in the standard wheelchair-friendly space.
The handlebar can be adjusted to four different positions and comes with a beautiful leatherette covering that feels really comfortable in your hand. The fold is one-handed and automatic with an auto-lock. Additionally, it’s small and freestanding when folded. It includes a storage compartment on the back of the seat that is ideal for storing important things like phones and keys.
The Peach 7 can be used from birth to 25kg. (Single use without elevators only). The iCandy Peach 2+ twin kit, sold separately, can be used to transform it into a double stroller. The seat can be adjusted to face either the parent or the world and the carrycot is suitable for sleep at night. It can be lifted off the chassis very easily – you just unclick each side in turn – and there’s also a bumper bar which helps you do this on your own as well.
iCandy Swift ™
This new addition to iCandy’s range of products offers the capability of a true all-terrain buggie with air-filled tyres. It is designed to be able to accommodate children from newborns to toddlers, and comes with three suggested configurations. Liz found it easy to slide the seat and carrycot off and on and the new cushion for head support made her most happy in either parent-facing or world-facing mode. The only issue was folding, which takes some time to master. When folded, it can fit into the car boot of a medium size. Also included are rain covers.

If you are a fan of outdoor walks or off-road adventures, an all terrain prams-terrain stroller is a must. They are also ideal if you want to be able to run with your child and can handle rough terrain and kerbs more easily than standard pushchairs. These models are usually somewhat more robust than lightweight, compact pushchairs. They could also come with different tyres for more rough terrain. Some models have a lockable swivel front wheel, while some – especially those that are specifically designed for running – include a brake control on the handlebar too.
The iCandy Swift has an excellent reputation in the market for all-terrain buggy, and MFM reviewer Kath found it “navigates well over bumpy pavements, grass cobbles, dirt tracks, and cobbles and copes with the incline of kerbs with ease”. The suspension and 16″ air-filled rear tires offer an enjoyable ride for children. The ability to lock the wheels onto the front (on both the three-wheel and four-wheel versions) is also a very useful feature when you need to traverse difficult terrain or climb a steep step.
Other features worth looking for in an all-terrain buggy include the height adjustment of the swivel seat and suspension that can be raised to accommodate a car or carrycot seat. Make sure that the tyres are puncture-proof, as this will make it easier to navigate through rough terrain and reduce the chance of losing your spare in the middle.
