The one-handed, Z-shape fold is easy and is extremely compact once you’ve mastered it and takes only a few seconds to unfold. However our tester found the auto lock a bit confusing and as the handlebar doesn’t lock into position when you press it, it struck her legs when she used it. She also felt that the handlebar was a little on the short side and especially with the large changing bag hanging from it.
Unlike other lightweight travel buggies it doesn’t sacrifice features and is one of the most feature-packed double strollers available. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately), features multiple recline positions, and comes with an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet to one or both seats and transform it into a travel system.
The four tires made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not made for off-roading. They had a hard time with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel and mud sank easily. But our tester was still enthralled riding this buggy, and it did get up to some pretty dirt hills.

The option to add a built-in ride to an older sibling is also available.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or turning into an area with a lot of traffic. They were also amazed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to suit individual needs – ideal for napping.
They also appreciated the fact that the hoods could be moved back and forward making them easy to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. They didn’t offer the same coverage as Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It’s probably worth carrying an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla on all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. The absence of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats with this buggy were noted as a problem by our test participants. They would have preferred a larger storage area for shopping and other equipment.
