The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro’s favourite stroller. It can adapt to your family’s needs seamlessly. It can hold two infant car seats and a toddler seat which makes it an ideal option for twins starting at birth.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best Bambisol Twin Pushchair: Birth to Ultra-Compact Design stroller for families that want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It is a bit larger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It comes with a handlebar that can be adjusted to retract and extend easily. It also has a fantastic reach, making it easy for my husband of 6’1 to push, even when loaded.
The seats are comfortable and can be positioned so that one child is behind the other, or to have children face each one. The seats can recline independently from each other. The canopies are large and cover both seat fabrics should you wish. They don’t have much ventilation, so they can feel like an oven on hot days. There is no peek-a-boo to see your children.
One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to adapt to your family’s needs from a single seat (Mono mode) all the way to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible to do this. It can be used with the bassinet for infants or a car seat.
It is easy to use on smooth surfaces, pushchairsandprams and it handles stairs and slopes with ease. The only downside is that it could be difficult to navigate in the midst of crowded restaurants and shops. It is also difficult to fold up, especially when the seats are connected. It is still compact and can be accessed through the majority of doors.
There is an additional storage bin that can be tucked away on the frame next to the front seat in mono mode. This is great for grocery shopping and other things. The main storage basket underneath the seats is huge and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista V2
This stroller is among the best twin strollers designed for newborns. It can be used straight from the box as a double stroller, and is compatible with many bassies and infant car seats. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters allow you to use two infant car seats simultaneously.
Comparatively to the first Vista, The V2 has added a few enhancements to make it better. The toddler seat is now raised by half an inch, the footrest is bigger and the canopy comes with an additional fabric extension that zips out. The harness has been updated, as it does not need to be re-threaded. This makes it easier to adjust.
The stroller comes with fairly large wheels (8 inches in the front and 11.5” in the back) with a sturdy suspension, which means it is able to easily navigate a variety of terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber which makes them suitable for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones. While the rear wheels are more grippy to handle the grassy hills and sidewalks.
Another feature that is great is the capability to connect a child’s bicycle to the front of the stroller, which is an ideal option for parents who aren’t interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. And if you have a child who is ready to stand and walk, the Vista can even fit an additional child with its piggyback ride along board.
Vista Vista is simple to use and set up. It does take some time to take off all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there’s also a YouTube video available for assistance if you require more information.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for its ease of use. There are some downsides to this model, though. First, it’s heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and is closer to the beast side of our metric, and is heavier than the average for this group of strollers. It also has a limited view when a car-seat is installed in the rear. In addition, the front tray release can be difficult to operate, particularly when used for a long time. Despite these issues, we still think this is a great double stroller that will be able to keep your family together for years to come.

This side-by-side stroller offers seating that reclines independently and foot rests for maximum comfort for both children. Its canopy is large and offers UPF 50 protection, and comes with an open view for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented for extra airflow, though. We were not happy the fact that the cup holder is quite high up on the frame. You’ll need to bend down to reach it.
In our tipping test the Jeep was able to tip over at a 39-degree angle which is higher than average for a double stroller. It’s also a little heavier than our top picks but it offers plenty of storage space at a reasonable cost and has ample padding on the seats and handle.
